Car speeding causes fatal accidents

Late night on Tuesday,15th November, two men passed away while one was severely injured when their car turned over due to speeding. The accident of the three friends took place near Karsaz on Shahra e Faisal, one of the busiest roads of Karachi. The injured has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital.

As per report, the deceased passed away on the spot and were transferred to hospital by the rescue team. The police also reported that the car was completely destroyed was moved to the police station by a lifter.

In Karachi, we have been witnessing some similar cases being reported earlier as well. On November 7, five people were killed when a car skidded off and fell into a ditch near Super Highway.

On 18th November, we again saw a report of a speeding truck killing one school going boy and injuring his two brothers near Surjani Town in Karachi. The brothers were going to their school on a motorcycle when this accident took place.

According to a report published by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the year 2021, there were approximately 867 traffic accidents in the Sindh province only out of about 560 accidents proved to be fatal.

In order to avoid any such misfortunes, one should wear a seat belt, drive within the speed limit and do not break the signal. These small precautionary measures, go a along way in keeping the traffic flow smooth and avoid any fatal accidents.
